The Spring Tune Up

I did that even though the temperature was in the low 30’s and I am in a surgical boot because of a minor surgery, which was not so minor, 4 months ago. Despite the apparent impediments to riding my bicycle, getting it serviced is a spring ritual that I have been doing since I was a boy.

Sorry to hear about your foot Rick, hope it heals quickly. I always enjoy reading your posts.
Ahh its good. My foot hurts but i am told I cna get on my bicycle this coming week. so I am looking forward to hopping on for a ride, better late than never.
I hate wearing those walking boots, but you sure appreciate it when they come off. I used to love riding my bike too. Have fun, just be careful hopping! 👋🏼☺️
Oh I am so glad to be out of the boot. Grrr, hate that boot.
always the optimist!!! These spring rituals are so important. When i can’t sharpen my skis or get out my gardening tools, then I’m not sure how worthwhile life will be. Nice to hear from you.
Thanks Leigh, it is good to be cycling back after a tough winter. I hope hope to pick up the pace in coming weeks.
